St Mary and All Saints - Newton by Castle Acre Norfolk, 22nd March 2015
St Mary's and All Saints is a small church st back off the
Swaffham to Fakenham Road,(A1065). There is a small parking area directly infront off the Church.
It is a
Norman Style with pitched tile roof and roofed tower.
I have no evidence but it reminds me of a "Templar" style. The Church is probably contrary with the
Priory and
Castle both late 12th early 13th Century.
Around the North Side The church is quite simple.
InsideThe church is quite austere but is still used regularly for services.
